TOM DE NEEF

http://www.djtomdeneef.com

Let's introduce a music-o-holic from Belgium. Tom De Neef, also known as Plastika, Behemoth, TDN, Gatacca and now also under the monikers Villanord and Bezement Freakz (toguether with Eddie Amador), well known for his contineous output of high quality tracks for many years.
Because of his interest for the late seventies and early eighties disco sound, it was hardly a surprise that Tom's firt tunes were imbedded with his now famous trademark disco house sound. In those days that particular sound was quite a novelty and when Plastika 'Disco Mirror' saw its release in 1997, it created a little bit of house hysteria. The track proved to be a huge clubhit throughout Europe and was picked up by Additive/Positive. The follow up 'Disco Dancing' was equally succesful after being signed by FFRR-London records.
Needless to say, that soon-after Tom was inundated with requests from around the globe. Ever since Tom has been putting his own spin on tracks for the likes of Kylie Minogue, Roger Sanchez, Kings Of Tomorrow, ATFC, John Cutler and Technotronic and delivered a fantastic rework of the classic Café Del Mar by Energy 52. More recently Tom has been doing his magic on Carl Kennedy's - The Love You Bring Me.
As one of Hed Kandi's main residents Tom has been playing to crowds around the world and with his new productions picking up more and more success you can find Tom playing in a club near you soon.
New productions include collaborations with Harrison Crumb and Eddie Amador with releases scheduled on Stealth Records, ID&T, Blanco Y Negro and Gossip Records and of course on Tom's very own Jacksquad Records.
