DJ STORM

On the forefront of break beat culture since the beginning, DJ Storm made his mark on S. Florida with his fresh sound of broken beats & scratch infested sets at the early rise of the electronic music revolution of the early 1990’s when house and 4/4 rhythm dominated the dance floor. His performances at memorable events hosted by Generic Soul along with festival appearances such as Zen & Ultra granted him the well deserved title of South Florida’s pioneer of breaks, and eventually became one of the most influential break beat ambassadors in America, as he has toured the USA breaking the new and evolved sounds and styles of breaks & electro.

His production accomplishments include some of the most memorable anthems in electronic music history. His most memorable tune and ravers’ favorites around the globe was his premier release on home label Freakin Music entitled “No Stoppin”. In the past, DJ Storm has worked on collaborations with partners Johnny Dangerously & OZ along with heavy hitters such as Rennie Pilgrem for labels such as Freakin, Big Bang Records, Funk Wax, Moonshine & Thursday Club Recordings. His most memorable projects include the ever popular “Perfect Timing” cd compilation series mixed and programmed with partner Johnny Dangerously as well as the heavy hitting “Future Sound of Breaks” compilation flawlessly mixed and programmed with Trevor Rockwell.

His recent productions and collaborations with Kriya have been featured on Technocolor Sound Recordings with its debut release “Miami Electro”, along with a plethora of progressive nu skool electro infused compositions to follow. As a dj, DJ Storm can be described as flawless and powerful.
